McNamara Creative Co was started in 2013 as ‘McNamara Design’ by Meaghan McNamara, who began rehabbing furniture after ten years in special education. McNamara Creative Co. specializes in custom colors for old and new furniture to make one-of-kind pieces for both commercial and residential clients. As of 2018, McNamara Creative Co has expanded to include large scale murals and installations (interior/exterior), and custom abstract art for interior designers and client spaces. McNamara Creative Co. is dedicated to creativity, one piece of furniture, mural, and canvas at a time.

About Meaghan

Meaghan McNamara is from Bethesda, MD. Growing up she was passionate about color, kids, and creativity which has translated through her childhood, growing years, and now as an adult. During her high school, McNamara realized that spending many hours inside the art studio was way more her speed then in the classroom. Painting was a medium that opened doors to her creativity.

McNamara Creative Co. has grown from painting furniture in her Glover Park, DC backyard to her warehouse space in Kensington, MD. And now McNamara has expanded her business to include commercial mural installations and abstract fine art. Her family has grown too after McNamara married her high school sweet heart they had three children together. They live in Kensington, MD.
